Who we are:
Nilz and Harley, a 5 star rated doggie daycare located in Stoke Golding and proudly serving the greater Hinkley area, is searching for a new member to join our team.
At Nilz and Harley, we cater to the needs of 15-20 furry friends daily at our specialized facility. From pick-up to drop-off and all the fun activities in between, we provide top-notch care for our canine companions.
What we’re looking for:
We're seeking an individual who shares our passion for dogs and is ready to commit to providing exceptional care and attention to our gang.
Requirements:
• While previous experience working with, volunteering for, or owning dogs is desirable, we prioritize the right attitude and a genuine love for our four-legged friends.
• Confidence and experience with various dog breeds is an asset.
• A reasonable level of personal fitness is necessary to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Preparedness to work outdoors in all weather conditions is a must.
• Familiarity with dog behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement techniques is beneficial.
• A strong dedication to the welfare of our dogs is paramount.
• Punctuality is key to adhere to our tight schedules.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential for working effectively with our team and providing updates to pawrents.
• Capturing memorable moments by taking photos of our gang.
• Vigilance to monitor behavior and transforming potential conflicts into positive interactions.
• Willingness to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of our fields and daycare facility.
Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Applicants must be available to work within these hours and days.
This position will be on a self employed basis with hours to be discussed at interview.
